Itinerary:
Days 1 Tromsø The Gateway to the Arctic
Upon arrival in Tromsø, take part in one of our optional winter excursions, or visit the northernmost brewery in the world for an Arctic beer. After embarkation in the late evening, the ship will travel toward the Lofoten Islands.
Day 2 Vesterålen and Lofoten Islands
Passing through the Lofoten Islands the ship negotiates a stunning network of inlets and isles. We will also pass through the narrow channel between Vesterålen and the Lofoten Island known as the Raftsund.
Day 3 Arctic Circle, Seven Sisters
Today we cross the Arctic Circle and can enjoy the impressive view of the Seven Sisters mountains that loom over the majestic Helgeland coast.
Day 4 Trondheim and Kristiansund
We arrive in Trondheim in the morning where you have the chance to visit the famous Nidaros Cathedral or take a stroll through the old town with its picturesque wooden buildings.
Day 5 Bergen, Disembarkation
Today your journey with Hurtigruten has come to an end, but there are still a few nautical miles of fascinating winter scenery ahead of us. We reach Bergen in the afternoon where you disembark. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 Bergen
Transfer to airport for your next destination.

Husky Dog Sledding at the Wilderness Center
Complete your vacation with a thrilling ride by Husky dog sled. Eager Huskies are waiting to transport you across the frozen landscape. At the end of the trip a warm Sami meal and homemade cake will be served in the lavvo (Sami tent), An exhilarating trip! Must be pre-booked.

Reindeer Sledding at a Coastal Farm
Join a real Sami guide for an unforgettable experience with reindeer sledding (2 miles) and Sami culture in Tromsø. You will meet guides who come from Sami reindeer herding families. During your visit you will experience: Reindeer sledding, lasso throwing, sightseeing at the camp, Sami food, storytelling, display of cultural artifacts and joik (traditional Sami song). Must be pre-booked

Snowmobile Safari, Lyngen - Tromsø
Join this snowmobiling adventure of a lifetime into the wild Arctic landscape. This tour takes you to the Lyngen Alps via road and ferry taking in the beautiful scenery. After a thorough introduction you will set off on a 2-3 hour trip on the snowmobile through valleys and frozen lakes. On your return warm up with hot coffee, a traditional local hot meal. Must be pre-booked.
